In this Geography topic, we will be expanding our previously learned knowledge about the UK and the surrounding seas to explore the world. We will kick off the half term with Disney Day, wherein the children will try French food, visit the Louvre and watch the Disneyland parade. We will ask and answer questions about the people, culture, human and physical features of France. We will then be venturing to India to explore their culture, human and physical features and climate. We will learn the five oceans and seven continents, understanding the distinctive features of each. In art, we will be looking at Monet's paintings and recreating his famous waterlillies using weaving and cutting skills.
