Join us for our dinosaur dig!

We begin our topic by discovering fossils using palaeontologist techniques for our dinosaur discovery role play.

Our class will delve into the history of dinosaurs using artefacts and online sources to find out their dinosaurs lived in different periods of times and what happened to them.

Throughout the topic we will learn dinosaur names, characteristics and different types.

We will learn who Mary Anning was and what she did.

In our science lessons, we will look at different animals and what 'group' of animal they belonged to and their diets (carnivores, herbivores and omnivores) We will also look at Humans and our body parts, diets and senses.

In our Art lessons we will make junk model dinosaurs looking at how to join and connect our 'junk'. We will practise and develop, rolling, carving and moulding when we make clay dinosaur models.

During RE we will be looking at Christians and what they believe.
