Bridge the Gap
This is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to improving the mental health of children, parents and teachers in Derby City and beyond.
They offer free support sessions (bookable by appointment) for anyone who has a concern over their child's emotional development, well-being, mental health, behaviour or sleep.
They also offer parent workshops which are designed to offer a greater understanding of how your child develops, to help maintain strong connections with your child and help to protect their mental health.

NHS - every mind matters
This is a great website more aimed at adults where you can make a "Mind Plan", where you can assess your state of mind and make a plan to help with this. It also gives advice on other mental health issues such as

It also looks at body matters with issues such as:

Build Sound Minds
Build Sound Minds - Action for Children is a charity organisation who work with children and young people and their families, providing early help and intervention. They have a team of psychologists who create age appropriate interventions and will work with children on a 1-1 or group basis. They will also work with families to help with issues at home. They work with children with many different issues. here are just a few:
- Family difficulties
- Anxiety, depression and stress
- Anger management difficulties
- Support with bereavement, loss and separation
- Adjustment reactions
- Conduct disorders
- Relationship difficulties
- Parental need where support in managing and understanding behaviour could be beneficial
You can make a referal for your child as a parent or please come into school and speak to staff about making a referal and we can work with you to do this.
